37.5 ml Gin, 5 ml Crème de Cassis, 75 ml Cloudy Apple Juice, 12.5 ml Lemon Juice, 2 dashes Vanilla Syrup, 12 Blackberries
Muddle the blackberries in a jug until they are a fine pulp. Add the gin, apple juice, lemon juice and vanilla syrup in a cocktail shaker along with a couple of ice cubes. Sieve the blackberries into the shaker too. Shake all the ingredients for about 15 seconds in cocktail shaker. Blend the sugar and cinnamon together on a small plate. Coat the rim of the Collins glass with lemon juice to moisten it and then roll it in the sugar so it coats the rim. Pour the cocktail into the glass, and top up with a teaspoon of creme de cassis.
A fruit take on the classic Bramble, this beautifully highlights the classic combination of Blackberry and Apple and is one of the very few dessert cocktails made we gin that we would recommend.
