Cognac cocktails

Cognac is a variety of brandy which is named after the French town of Cognac. For a distilled brandy to bear the name of Cognac its production methods must meet certain legal requirements. Probably the most famous Cognac brands are Hennessy, Courvoisier and Remy Martin. Cognac is used to make several cocktails, such as the classic Sidecar and the Panama.
