Cocktail Advent: Day 7 – Sailor Jerry Hot Buttered Rum

So what’s behind door Number 7 as we’re a full week into December?

Since it’s a Sunday we thought perhaps you’d be hibernating at home, or having friends and family round. For that reason we’ve decided to give a great recipe using Sailor Jerry Rum that you can whip up for family and friends.

The Recipe below is for a batch of 6 cocktails, and the result is a warming, spiced and delectably smooth drink sure to get you in the festive spirit. and, if you want to experience it made my professional bartenders, it is available down at WigWam at Queen of Hoxton.

 

Ingredients:

25ml Sailor Jerry Spiced rum

25ml Innis and Gunn Original beer

20ml water

1 teaspoon unsalted butter

10ml maple syrup

2 dash Angostura Bitters

 

Method:

Combine all ingredients in metal jug, steam with coffee machine steam wand until butter has melted.
