Christmas Absinthe Cocktail – the Chez Cherie

We get sent a lot of Cocktails Recipes during the build-up to Christmas, but we only post the ones we really like and this one definitely fits that bill. La Masion Fontaine Absinthe have created a sensational twist on the party season cocktail with their Chez Cherie concotion. This specially created aperitif cocktail features Hazelnut Liqueur, warming rum, cherries and of course, La Maison Fontaine absinthe and its one of the best cocktails we’ve tried this season, if not all year. Highly recommended.

“Chez Cherie” cocktail

Ingredients

35ml Fontaine Absinthe

25ml Aged Rum

10ml Hazelnut liqueur

4 dash of Angostura bitters

Glassware:

Small Coupe

Garnish:

2 Drunken cherries on a prism stick

Method:

Stir with cubed ice in a Boston tin

Strain into a small chilled coupe glass
