Bonbonniere 2Watching a DJ spinning tunes from inside a huge Fabergé egg while sipping on a smooth, chilled Martini and nibbling sushi – Tuesday evenings don’t get much better than this. Social and Cocktail were lucky enough to join the revellers of a new night at the super-stylish and ever-so-luxe BonBonniere club, hosted by JPR Media Group – and boy, were we fortunate to get our names on the guest-list. The invite-only event was hotter than sunburnt Kardashian booty, and by half nine there was a queue snaking its way along Orchard Street, while the beautiful and the buffed waited patiently for a night they knew would be worth it.

And worth it, it certainly was. From the thumping hip hop beats to the neon blue lighting which glazed carousers in a sapphire glow, the club oozed style. Not surprising, since the owner is a bit of a star himself. Joe Fournier is mates with the likes of Paris Hilton and Nicole Scherzinger, making him pretty much party-royalty. When we visited the room was already throbbing with dancers, models, drinkers, friends… all enjoying the buzzing atmosphere. After a boogie we found a nook and watched the beautiful people wandering past, coveting their luxe adornments and playing Designer-Bingo. Burberry, Christian Louboutin, Stella McCartney… check, check, check.

And of course, Social and Cocktail doesn’t like to head out on the town without indulging in a tipple or three, especially when a new spirit is on hand to be tested. It seemed luxury was the buzz word of the evening, as we helped ourselves to exclusive Tonino Lamborghini Vodka, bottles of which graced each table. It could have almost been a fashion accessory itself, with the elegant shaft of the bottle and jet-black dusting that sets it apart from lesser brands. Gaging the finesse of the evening, we decided to sip it in pure form – as part of a Vodka Martini. Sharp, clean and crisp, it was just what was needed to accompany the oriental treats of sushi that were dotted around the venue.

We partied into the night, tripping off eventually to catch a night bus and reminisce about the A-List experience we’d just enjoyed. From the chic interior (designed by the creators of the Armani hotel, no less), to the gleaming Fabergé eggs adorning one of the walls, the place is pure delicious decadence.

So what else can visitors expect from a night at Bonbonierre nightclub? Well, Fournier has already been approached by interested partners all over the world to take his club concept international, so watch this space for more exciting BonBonniere news which, a little birdy says, is soon to be announced….
