The Ingredients

10 ml Cinnamon Schnapps, 10 ml Amaretto, 10 ml Coffee Liqueur

How To make a Roasted Toasty

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled shot glass.

The Roasty Toasty is a flavoursome shooter which always hits the mark and leaves a warm feeling in the tummy. A wonderful combination of almond, cinnamon and coffee flavours – perfect for those who prefer their mixed drinks on the sweet and creamy side. This shooter is a great addition to a girly get together, such as a Hen Party. The Roasty Toasty is also known as the Tomahawk.

When making the Roasty Toasty the recommended cinnamon liqueur is Goldschlager, which is essentially a strong cinnamon schnapps from Switzerland that has very thin gold flakes floating in it. There are also good cinnamon schnapps available from De Kuyper and Leroux. The coffee liqueur to use in this drink can be either Tia Maria or Kahlua whilst the best almond liqueur recommended to use is the popular Amaretto liqueur.

If you are feeling particularly adventurous this shooter also works great poured over some vanilla ice-cream.
