Combine Jägermeister and schnapps in glass full of ice. Add cranberry juice to fill to top. Stir as necessary and serve iced cold.

The drink gets its name from the cranberry juice that separates itself from the rest of the drink. The Redheaded Slut is also popular as a shooter, in which you can reduce the measurements to 5 ounces peach schnapps, 10 ounces Jagermeister and 15 ounces cranberry juice, shaken in cocktail shaker with ice and poured in a shot glass.

The Redheaded Slut is also known as the Ginger Bitch and it was apparently first created at O`Grady’s Pub in Ohio in 2000. The Drink became very popular at bars among college-aged adults, who were intrigued by the sexual name of the drink. There are a few variations on this drink, such as the Lindsey Lohan cocktail plus a popular variation with the same name uses equal parts Jagermeister, Crown Royal, Southern Comfort and cranberry-flavoured vodka. This version is a much more potent drink and is not for the faint-hearted.
The Redheaded Slut is one of the easier drinking cocktails which include the intensely flavoured Jagermesiter, which is a German proof digestif made with herbs and spices and is typically 35% ABV. The cranberry juice and peach schnapps bring a sweet fruit flavour to the herbal tasting Jagermeister and this helps balance the drink and make it very quaffable.
