The Ingredients
75 ml Applejack, 50 ml Lemon Juice, 2 dashes Grenadine Syrup
How To make a Jack Rose
Add all ingredients into mixing tin filled with ice and shake for 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish and serve straight up.

Essentially an applejack sour which has lovely balance plus the grenadine gives it a lovely light rose hue.
Did You Know?
This cocktail notably appeared in a scene in Ernest Hemmingways 1926 classic, "The Sun Also Rises", in which Jake Barnes, the narrator, drinks a Jack Rose in a Paris hotel.
