Fill the rocks glass with ice. Add the brandy and the coffee liqueur and gently stir. Serve.

The Dirty Mother is essentially a Black Russian cocktail with brandy replacing the vodka. The Dirty Mother has a number of variations, with the most popular being the Dirty White Mother, which is created simply by adding cream.
When making the Dirty Mother cocktail, always try to use a good quality brandy, such as Hennessey, Courvoisier or Remy Martin. There are several coffee liqueurs now available but either Tia Maria or Kahlua is always a safe bet for this type of cocktail.
