37 1/2 ml Rye Whiskey, 37 1/2 ml Yellow Chartreuse, 37 1/2 ml Benedictine, 1 Egg, 1 teaspoon Simple Syrup, Nutmeg
Beat the egg and syrup in a mixing glass. Add the other ingredients and ice. Shake vigorouly to ensure the egg is properly mixed. Strain into 2 well-chilled cocktail glasses. Dust with grated nutmeg.
The chartreuse and Benedictine give this frothy and creamy creation great herbal depth and flavour.
