151 Proof Rum

151 Proof Rum is usually dark, aromatic rum from the West Indes which has been bottled at higher proof than usual rum. 151 Proof Rum is also known as “overproof rum” and although there are several brands, Bacardi 151 is considered to be the most well known.

151 Proof Rum is usually used floated, and sometimes ignited, on top of shots or cocktails, such as the Zombie or the Volcano.
