Going Social: The Edinburgh Twitter List

As the name suggests, Social and Cocktail is as much about enjoying great cocktails as it is about bringing people together. Even better, it’s about enjoying your time out and about in the cities you love!

As our faithful friends will know, Edinburgh is one of those cities particularly close to our heart, so we’re delighted to have been included in Hotel Direct’s Edinburgh Top 20 Twitter List.

The guys from Hotel Direct have been looking at ways of giving a bit of insider knowledge of the Scottish capital without the use (and cost) of a guide book. So they looked to Twitter to create a list of the accounts you really have to follow – there’s a nice little mix in there, from food pop-ups to theatre, music and, most importantly of all, great drinks!

The idea is that anyone with a Twitter account can head to the list: https://twitter.com/hoteldirect/lists/edinburgh-twitter-top-20 and subscribe for FREE. You can then check out all the tweets from people who are almost as passionate about Edinburgh as we are, be first to all the news; from the latest bands in town, to cheap theatre tickets and more off-the-cuff events than you can shake a cocktail shaker at.
