35 ml Amaretto, Orange Juice, Soda Water
Pour the amaretto into an Old-Fashioned glass filled with ice cubes. Then fill with orange juice. Top with soda water.
The Bocce Ball cocktail is like a pimped up version of the popular Screwdriver drink. Easy to make, easy to remember, plus its tasty and refreshing. Some versions of this drink also include vodka, or even flavoured vodka like vanilla,to give it an extra taste dimension.
Amaretto is the main ingredient in this cocktail and is readily available in most supermarkets and off-licenses. Amaretto is essentially a sweet, almond-flavoured liqueur which originated and is still made in Italy. The drink is made from a base of apricots pits or almonds, sometimes both. Amaretto can be enjoyed on its own or as the main ingredients in a number of cocktails, such as the Godfather and the popular Amaretto Sour. There are several brands of amaretto available, but for the Bocce Ball cocktail, we recommend Disaronno.
