Situated within the chic, boutique Macdonald Townhouse Hotel which itself occupies a one-time cotton warehouse, Bar 101 is one of the city’s newest and most underestimated lounge and cocktail bars. The cotton merchants have long gone, but in a reference to Cottonopolis and all things Manchester, the bar features its signature Wonderwall – a specially commissioned mural that features the name of several dozen Mancunians past and present. A real talking point, and something to keep you occupied whilst you sip one of our carefully crafted cocktails.
